Hasti Ahangi is an author, lawyer, and entrepreneur. She immigrated to the U.S. from Sweden at age 12 as the child of Persian refugees. Hasti earned her Juris Doctor from the University of California, Berkeley School of Law and graduated summa cum laude from the University of California, Los Angeles.

Today, Hasti leads Portal Planner LLC and serves as an attorney specializing in international anti-corruption, human rights, and global compliance law. Across both her entrepreneurial and legal work, she focuses on designing systems that help people and organizations thrive. She believes that well-designed systems not only safeguard organizations, but also create space for individuals to do their best work and live more intentional lives.

Outside of work, Hasti partners with community organizations, runs a mentorship program, and never misses a chance to gather loved ones around a table of freshly baked pastries.
